Estero, FL – Musician Tom Sartori’s bio reads like lyrics to a county music song.  Sartori has toured five countries, opening for acts like Gavin DeGraw, Jessica Simpson, Meatloaf, Chuck Berry, Sister Hazel, Jewel, and Everclear.  A former featured singer on NBC’s the Singing Bee; Sartori makes a special appearance on May 5 in Estero at La Bamba Mexican Restaurant at Miromar Outlets.

What makes Sartori’s story unique is that he accomplished it without a record label; but instead an independent push, financed with the money he earned from performing live in clubs and playing poker. A renegade musician, Sartori used Texas Hold-em Poker to finance his music.  After winning over $300,000 on ESPN’S World Series of Poker in 2005, he invested his winnings in his music career.

Sartori will perform live from 12 to 3:30 p.m. during La Bamba’s day-long Tequila Block Party festivities.  There is no cover charge for the Cinco de Mayo party which also includes a jalapeño eating contest at 5 p.m., giveaways, drink and food specials and an appearance by the Corralejo Tequila Girls.  The party goes until 2 a.m.  For more information contact La Bamba Mexican Restaurant at (239) 948-2684.
